On this Christmas day, I offer you this modest gift of conversation with one of the great spiritual voices of the past decades.
Henri Nouwen, born in Holland, ordained then taught in Harvard, arrived at Daybreak, a L’Arche community north of Toronto, which cares for developmentally challenged adults.
Henri’s many books have helped us understand, in his words, “being the beloved of God.”
This interview was taped the year before he died which was in 1996.

It was a very meaningful interview. ‘How should we then live’ is the question I’ve been asking lately. There are some thought provoking answers here.
